Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our course and certification program. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, subject to the conditions outlined below.
You ARE Eligible for a Refund If:
- Your request is made within 30 days of the original purchase date
- You purchased the Course Only tier (refundable regardless of usage)
- You purchased an exam-inclusive tier (Course + Certification or Premium) but have NOT taken the exam
- You experienced a technical issue that prevented you from accessing the service and we could not resolve it
You Are NOT Eligible for a Refund If:
- More than 30 days have passed since your purchase
- You have taken the certification exam (passed or failed)
- You have received a certificate (even if expired)
- You violated our Terms of Service or Exam Honor Code
- You are requesting a refund due to failing the exam
- You simply changed your mind after taking the exam
Course Only ($149)
Refund Period: 30 days from purchase
Conditions: No conditions. You can request a refund even if you've completed all course modules.
✓ Full refund available within 30 days, regardless of usage
Course + Certification ($299)
Refund Period: 30 days from purchase
Conditions: Full refund available if you have NOT taken the certification exam.
✗ No refund once you've taken the exam (even if you fail)
Reason: The exam attempt is the primary value of this tier. Once consumed, it cannot be refunded.
Premium Package ($499)
Refund Period: 30 days from purchase
Conditions: Full refund available if you have NOT taken the certification exam.
✗ No refund once you've taken the exam (even if you fail)
Reason: Unlimited exam attempts are included. Once you've used one, the value has been delivered.

- Your account email address
- Purchase date
- Reason for refund (optional but helpful for us to improve)
- Confirmation that you have NOT taken the exam (if applicable)
- We'll review your request within 1-2 business days and confirm eligibility
- Refund processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days
💡 Tip: Use the same email address you registered with to expedite processing. Requests from different email addresses may require additional verification.

Your bank or card issuer processes the refund. This varies by financial institution.
Total timeline: Most refunds are completed within 10-14 business days from the initial request. If you haven't received your refund after 14 business days, contact your bank or card issuer first, then reach out to us if the issue persists.
We generally do not offer partial refunds. However, in exceptional circumstances, we may consider partial refunds at our sole discretion:
Examples of Partial Refund Scenarios:
- Technical issues: If you experienced significant technical problems that prevented you from accessing a portion of the course despite our support efforts
- Tier downgrade: If you upgrade tiers by mistake and request a downgrade within 14 days
- Duplicate purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same tier twice
To request consideration for a partial refund, contact billing@projectmanagementlicense.com with detailed information about your situation.
The following scenarios are explicitly non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Failed exam attempts: Failing the exam does not entitle you to a refund. You can study and retake based on your tier's attempts.
- Used exam attempts: Once you've taken the exam, the refund window closes immediately, regardless of the 14-day period.
- Certificate received: If you passed the exam and received a certificate, no refund is possible.
- Expired access: If your access period has expired (6 months, 1 year, etc.), you cannot request a refund.
- Terms of Service violations: If your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Exam Honor Code, no refund will be issued.
- Changed mind after exam: "I don't need the certification anymore" is not a valid reason for refund after taking the exam.
- Outside refund window: Requests made more than 14 days after purchase will be denied.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (file a chargeback) without first contacting us to request a refund through proper channels, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately suspend or terminate your account
- Revoke any certificates issued
- Ban you from future purchases
- Pursue collection for fraudulent chargebacks
Please contact us first! We're reasonable people and will work with you to resolve any billing issues. Chargebacks hurt small businesses and should only be used for truly fraudulent charges.
If you see a charge you don't recognize, it may appear on your statement as "PML" or "Project Management License" or through our payment processor "Stripe." Contact us at billing@projectmanagementlicense.com to verify before disputing.
